Child Care Mindset

Certified Childcare Business Coach

Hello, we are Brian and Carol Duprey and we are John Maxwell Certified Child Care Mindset Coaches.  We have opened and operated 10 successful child care centers over the last 25 years, and now we help owners, directors, and teachers live their best lives.

Mindset is vital to owning, running, or teaching in a successful child care business, yet this is probably one of the more neglected areas by child care professionals. Our content will focus on helping you with personal development, visioning, goal setting, and mindset.  When you follow the tools we lay out for you in our books, courses, and podcast you will be in the right frame of mind to be successful.

We have laid out three simple steps for you to have the proper child care mindset. Whether you are an owner, director, or teacher, these steps are the same.

Step 1:

Join the Child Care Mindset Facebook Group

Let’s face it, social media can be cruel.  We see everyone living near-perfect lives and feel that something is wrong with our lives.  Head on over to the Child Care Mindset Facebook Page and get uplifted and get into the proper mindset to deal with employees or care for children.  There is no cost to join, just a desire to be fed positive thoughts.

Step 2:

Download our Child Care Genius Positivity Pack!

When it comes to leading a business and a team, we know things can get heavy sometimes. You need all the help you can get to see possibilities when doors close, overcome obstacles that cross your path, and remain positive when things start to look bleak.

We’ve created this ultimate Positivity Pack for Child Care Business Owners that you can reference when you might need a little pick me up to get through your day, or move ahead with a stalled goal.

Step 3:

Purchase our Child Care Mindset: 30 Days of Growth and Transformation.

A positive mindset is essential to personal and professional success.  In this book Child Care Mindset: 30 Days of Growth and Transformation the authors take you on a 30-day transformational journey.  You will learn to put the past behind you, find ways to look at things more positively and become an absolute joy to be around.

This book is written for child care owners, directors, and teachers to give you a quick and easy game plan for a mindset shift. Since it takes around 21 days for the average person to develop a habit, the 30-day format creates a positive mindset habit that develops and will last a lifetime.

Step 4:

Purchase our Child Care Mindset: Dreams, Goals, and Gratitude Journal.

To become an effective Child Care leader, you must set goals, have dreams, and live each day with a spirit of gratitude. Writing them down is the key to becoming successful.  In this easy-to-use journal, all of your professional and personal goals and dreams will be laid out in front of you in an organized manner, along with a daily list of things you are grateful in your life for.  This journal will inspire and motivate you to succeed, and help you to maintain a positive mindset even when things are not going well.

Part One of the Child Care Mindset Dreams, Goals, & Gratitude Journal deals with writing down your dreams.  What are your dreams?  What do you want to accomplish in life?  We give you the space to write the top 150 dreams you want to accomplish in life and have a check-off box for you to check when the dream has been realized.

Part Two of the Child Care Mindset Dreams, Goals, & Gratitude Journal deals with writing down your short and long-term goals.  What are your goals?  Where do you want to be in two, five, ten, or twenty years?  We give you the space to write down goals you want to accomplish and have a check-off box for you to check when each goal has been accomplished.

Part Three of the Child Care Mindset Dreams, Goals, & Gratitude Journal deals with writing down things you are grateful for.  Each day throughout the year you are to write one thing you are grateful for and after 365 days, you will have completed the journal.  Every time you are feeling down or have negative thoughts, pull out the journal, flip to a random day and read something you are thankful for.  Since negative thoughts and positive thoughts cannot exist in your mind at the same time, it will help you return to a positive mindset.
